REC I
Beginner
60 Minute Class

This is our beginning level designed for school-aged girls who are just starting gymnastics for the first time or gymnasts that are transitioning out of our preschool Kinder Gym program. In this class we will focus on safety first and then fun. They can expect to learn basic gymnastics skills, strength, and flexibility. Some of the skills we will have the girls focus on in this class prior to moving up to Rec 2 will be Run, Jump and “Freeze” on vault, Casting and Gliding on bars, Balancing on the beam while walking 3 different directions, and Cartwheels and Handstands on floor. REC II
Advanced Beginner
60 Minute Class

When gymnasts have mastered their Rec 1 skills, they will be asked to transition into our Rec 2 class. Some of the skills we will have the girls focus on in this class prior to moving up to Rec 3 will be Straddling onto the vault with a trampoline, Pullovers on bars, Knee scales and one leg bear walks on beam, and Split leaps, Vertical Handstands and Tripods on floor. REC III
Intermediate
60 Minute Class

When gymnasts have mastered their Rec 2 skills, they will be asked to transition into our Rec 3 class. Some of the skills we will have the girls focus on in this class prior to moving up to Rec Advanced will be Tuck jumps onto the vault with a mini trampoline, Back hip circles on bars, Candle rolls and Scales on beam, and Headstands and Handstand rolls on floor. REC IV
Advanced
90 Minute Class

When gymnasts have mastered their Rec 3 skills, they will be asked to transition into our Rec Advanced class. Some of the skills we will have the girls focus on in this class prior to moving up to Rec Pre Competitive will be Run, Jump and Passing through handstand on vault, Spotted front hip circles, Forward rolls on the low beam and Cartwheel to handstand pike down dismounts on high beam, and Handstand bridges and one arm cartwheels on floor. Once all of their Rec Advanced skills have been mastered, they will be asked to move up to the Rec Pre Competitive class. Pre Competitive
Advanced
90 Minute Class

When gymnasts have mastered their Rec Advanced skills, they will be asked to transition into our Rec Pre Competitive class. Some of the skills we will have the girls focus on in this class prior to either being asked to join the Level 4 team or the Junior High tumbling class will be Standing Front Handsprings off of two panel mats on vault, no cast shoot throughs on bars, Cartwheel to handstand quarter turn dismounts on beam, and backhandsprings and roundoffs on floor. Once all of their Rec Pre Competitive skills have been mastered, they will either be to invited to try out for the Level 4 team or they can move into the Junior High Tumbling class.
