Highlights of Brenna's career:

I started at the Scandinavia Gymnastics Club in Ventura, California in 1971. I trained as a Class 3 for two years and then needed to move to Monarchs Gymnastics in Thousand Oaks, California to train as a Class 1 because Scandinavia Gymnastics did not offer that level of competition.

I trained at Monarchs Gymnastics for less than a year. Found out there what kind of coaching was not good for kids. As a family we moved to a neighboring gym where I ended up retiring, Ventura County School of Gymnastics. I was a class 1 there until 1979. Traveled and competed in regional and western championships. Favorite trip of course was to Hawaii for regional’s!! Still my favorite trip but now for my girls to compete. After being injured, began coaching the Class 3 team for two years.

In 2002, Nicole, my oldest daughter, wanted more than just a recreation class. We started pre-team that year and she competed her first year of Level 4 thereafter. The coaches for that team left the next year so I trained under Jeff and Linda as the Level 4 coach. Two years later I began coaching Level 5s and 6s as well. I currently coach levels 1-6 and love every minute of it.
