Highlights of Alexis's career:

I started doing gymnastics when I was 3 years old at the Puyallup YMCA. I quickly progressed through the recreational levels and by the age of 7 I was competing on the Crystals Gymnastics Team. I competed for the Crystals until I was a level 7. At that time I realized that my skill level matched the coaching style of Grace Gymnastics Center. I competed at Grace through level 9 when my ongoing injuries forced me to quit daily gymnastics. Some of my best memories are traveling across the country and competing in amazing locations like New York, Georgia, and Southern California.

I competed on the Puyallup High School gymnastics team. It was a lot of fun training and competing with gymnasts with so many different ability levels. My sophomore year of high school was the last year I was able to compete in high school gymnastics due to my Running Start schedule, but I ended my high school career with a second place finish in the all-around at state and I finished in the top five on the Vault, bars, and floor.

In 2008, I started coaching pre-team and level 4’s for the Crystals Gymnastics Team. Within 6 months I moved to Puget Sound Gymnastics where I have joyfully coached the Compulsory Team with Brenna.
